Mick + Molly : West Point New York United States Military Academy Wedding Celebration

WEST POINT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER // HUDSON RIVER VALLEY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER // WEST POINT ENGAGEMENT SESSION // WEST POINT WEDDING // HUDSON RIVER VALLEY WEDDINGS

It was truly an honor to capture Molly and Mick's wedding day at The United States Military Academy at West Point. The day began across the river as the girls got their hair done in a Salon in Westchester, New York. As the finishing touchs to hair and makeup were placed, they began to head back to the Westchester Country Club where they would continue the day. The boys, meanwhile were engaging in various antics, laughing, drinking, and luckily avoiding shenanigans in the process. While her bridal party got dressed downstairs, Molly slipped into her breathtaking wedding dress in the bridal suite upstairs. Mick adjusted the pins on his US Army Officers uniform jacket and laced up his dress shoes.

After an intimate first look behind the Westchester Country Club, they headed to West Point for the ceremony. The limo arrived at the chapel and the boys found their way to the front of the Cadet Chapel. As the doors swung open, and the organ echoed with brilliant majesty, Molly walked down the aisle to her beaming groom. They said their vows and were joined as husband and wife amidst family and friends. As they excited the chapel, they walked beneath a saber arch -- a United States Army wedding tradition to welcome the new bride to the military branch. After the ceremony Mick, Molly, and their bridal party headed to Trophy Point for some fun times and silly pictures. We frolicked through the West Point campus, strolled along the Hudson River, and they finally got the chance to kiss all over campus -- something they definitely could not do when Mick was still a cadet at the USMA.

I don't know if I have ever seen people dance as hard as the guests at their wedding. These guys were tearing it up out there. That being said, their special day was also filled with the most heartfelt speeches I have listened to at a wedding. Molly and Mick are truly one of a kind individuals -- I know that in the years to come as husband and wife they will truly make the world a better place together.

Congratulations you guys!
