Kacie and Jake's wedding at West Point was so beautiful. They day started out with everyone getting ready at the Bear Mountain Inn -- just a short drive from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where the wedding would be taking place later that day. After hair and makeup was done, and mimosas were had, everyone headed over to West Point and made their way up the winding hill to the West Point Cadet Chapel for their 12:00 ceremony. As the organ music blared from the West Point Organ -- the chapel was filled with angelic music as the doors swung open and Kacie made her way down the aisle to her groom.
They said their vows amidst family and friends before exiting the chapel through a saber arch to the cheers of everyone in attendance. After the wedding we frolicked all around West Point, taking photos at Trophy Point, Lusk Reservoir, and all of my secret spots where I take my couples for photos! The reception was held later that day at Bear Mountain Inn. After making a mandatory stop at the carousel, we headed off to party the night away under the glow of edison light bulbs and the stars.
