Michael and Lauren are one of those couples that make you wonder if there are other fish in the sea. I shot their engagement session a couple of months ago and I remember feeling the same way looking back through all the photos. They are just beautiful people. Not only externally, but internally. They were the sweetest couple to me and had the coolest wedding. Their personalities are very different, but the way the two of them fit together, compliment one another's weaknesses, and build up each other's strengths was my privilege to watch. They got married on a hot and muggy day in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Their ceremony was amidst family and friends in the coolest event venue attached to FOOTNOTE: Coffee & Cocktails. The room was filled with twinkly lights, reclaimed cement floors, and exposed antique brick. Between the ceremony and the reception we adventured through Winston-Salem and explored the murals on the walls near the bookstore. Lauren, being a huge Harry Potter fan, adorned their wedding with all things thematic and magical. I think that Michael definitely used some "Alohomora" on Lauren's hear though, as they danced the night away in newlywed bliss.
